pale_moonlite, it's time to pay our debts of honor.
We're tenlosers lucky people who will have the pleasure to write a drabble for one of two even luckier people, namely
kelly_chambliss or
tetleythesecond, who won the betting pool.
Let the fun begin!
Step 1: Claim two prompts (+ pairing/character), one from Kelly's list and one from Tetley's. I will assign you one prompt. That way I want to make sure that they both get their equal share.
Step 2: Write a drabble of about 100 - 500 words.
Step 3: Post it to
hp_worldcup_bets not later than August 11, using the header template below. I set the community's posting access to anybody, so you don't have to become a member to do so.
kelly_chambliss's prompts:
I offer a choice of either Option A or Option B --
Option A: Choose any story of mine and write a sequel/prequel/missing scene/different ending (claimed by
miss_morland)
Option B: Choose a pairing and match it to any prompt:
Pairings:
--McGonagall and any of the following: Amelia Bones, Hooch, Sprout, Snape, Moody, Scrimgeour, Grubbly-Plank, Pomfrey, Lucius, Muriel Weasley, Walburga Black, Rosmerta
--Muriel Weasley/Griselda Marchbanks
Prompts:
--official Ministry party
--(Mis)use of Muggle Artefact
--amusement park, Wizard or Muggle
--hate!sex or angry!sex
--spell gone wrong
--hurt/comfort
--staff or Order meeting
--a debt paid and/or a debt owed (claimed for Snape/McGonagall by
tjs_whatnot)
--"Fancy meeting you here" (claimed for McGonagall/Snape by
queen_of_snapes)
--tenth anniversary (claimed for McGonagall/Rosmerta by
shocolate)
--lost wand
--a letter (claimed for McGonagall/Amelia Bones by
bendleshnitz1)
Really, I'll be happy with anything except total crack!fic or stories about Minerva as a cat or a child/student.

For Tetley: Poppy Pomfrey / Rita Skeeter - role reversal
And again, thank you for making this such a fun event.
I'll probably whinge several drabbles-length whinges on to do either of these prompts justice for two of the best authors around, but please ignore that. I'm really enjoying myself, in a BDSM/consensual and too damn stubborn to use the safe word sort of way.

*snorts* I really hope you do! I'm looking forward to what you do with that prompt. You've chosen the best characters for it.

(McSnape is the only thing I can vaguely see myself coming up with something readable...)
